The Artisan Empowerment Project is a purpose led initiative that lies at the very heart of UMOYA’s commitment to empowering artisans and uplifting and growing individual careers.
The AE Project is an integrated component of UMOYA and seeks to uncover talented individuals and give them a platform far larger than they would otherwise have access to – to showcase their craft.
The AE Project will find, educate and give key responsibility to these talented individuals and then further tell their stories through video online and at the shows to shine light on them as they grow and thrive.
We believe that working with up and coming talent in this way will also unlock more authentic South African spirit (UMOYA) into our final product and experience.
